As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for generating revenue by selling exhibition booth space and sponsorship packages to companies at upcoming trade shows and events, actively prospecting new clients, managing existing relationships, and ensuring successful participation at the exhibition by coordinating logistics and addressing exhibitor needs to meet sales targets and contribute to overall event success
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation and Prospecting:
Identify potential exhibitors within target industries through market research and networking.
Contact prospective clients via phone calls, emails, and in-person meetings to present exhibition opportunities.
Qualify leads based on their needs and budget to identify suitable exhibition packages.
Proactively sell the venue space to clients and at marketing events and exhibitions
Develop the client base by proactively reaching out to new clients and businesses
Sales and Negotiation:
Develop customized exhibition packages including booth space, signage, branding options, and additional sponsorship opportunities.
Present proposals to potential exhibitors clearly outlining the value proposition and benefits of participating.
Negotiate pricing and contract terms with clients to close deals and secure commitments.
Account Management:
Maintain ongoing communication with existing clients to address concerns, provide updates, and foster strong relationships.
Manage exhibitor details including booth assignments, logistics, and necessary documentation for the event.
Event Support:
Attend trade shows and exhibitions to actively engage with potential exhibitors, answer questions, and promote upcoming events.
Coordinate with the event operations team to ensure smooth on-site exhibitor experience.
Gather feedback from exhibitors post-event to improve future sales strategies.
Reporting and Analysis:
Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify new sales opportunities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Strong Sales Skills: Proven ability to close deals, build rapport with clients, and handle objections effectively.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication to clearly articulate the benefits of exhibition participation.
Market Knowledge: Understanding of relevant industries, trade show dynamics, and target audience.
Relationship Building: Ability to nurture long-term client relationships and foster repeat business.
Previous experience in exhibition sales, event management is highly desirable.
